Q: What are the hours of operation?

A: Tuesday through Thursday 4pm to 10pm, Friday 6pm to 11pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm. We are closed on Mondays.


Q: When are the best and worst days for a first time experience?

A: Any day is a good day to come in, there are no bad days. Reservations are required

A: Reservations are required


Q: Is there an age limit?

A: Yes, a minimum of 9 years old during our regular business hours. Under 13 years old required parental supervision.


Q: What is the cost?

A: 1 hour session including use of equipment: $35
1 hour session with your own equipment: $18
A free lesson is included when you are visiting us and using our equipment for the first time. This is also included and required if it has been more than 6 months since your last visit.
Cash only.


Q: I want to come by to take a first time lesson. Can I call to find out how busy you are going to be?

A: Reservations are required. The best way to make a reservation is sending an email to queensarchery@bigapplearchery.com


Q: Will additional lessons be necessary?

A: No, the first free lesson is all you need.


Q: Can I shoot a crossbow at this range?

A: No, we are not set up for crossbow shooting. Also, we do not work on crossbows as our bow press cannot accomodate them.


Q: Do you sell crossbows?

A: Yes, we can order you a crossbow. However, we do not work on crossbows as our bow press cannot accomodate them.


Q: When is the best time to call in order to make a reservation?

A: Please see our Reservations Page we prefer you email to reserve. Reservations are not confirmed until you get a confirmation email from us. You can only reserve by phone if you are making a same day reservation.


Q: I have heard that you have offensive posters in your range. How offensive are they?

Q: I have a picture of my [boss, ex, mortal enemy], can I bring that and shoot at it?

A: No. The only targets you can shoot are the standard archery targets that we provide.


Q: Do you offer the New York State Hunter or Bow Hunter safety course?

A: No. You can check the NY Department of Environmental Conservation Website to find a course
